One of my hobbies is film photography, which is where all the photos on this website come from!

Who I am:
I was born in Northern California, but grew up just south of L.A. in San Diego. I then attended Columbia University in New York City, where I received my Bachelor's degree in Sociology and English. I received my teaching credential from Loyola Marymount University (LMU) here in LA! I am the youngest of three, as well as the only girl. My mother is from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico (por eso, hablo español!), and my father is a rare, native Delawarean. In my free time, I love reading (especially novels that have Spanglish), film photography, spending time at the beach, catching up on TV shows, and giving in to my gigantic sweet tooth! |
My motto:
Every single student can be successful, and it is my job to do everything in my power to make that possible. I truly believe that through literacy and the arts, we uncover, discover, and add to the beauty of the human experience. |
